Dell XPS M1530 is a premium product from Dell.It is one of the best Laptops available in the Market with Good Build Quality and Features and allows you to Flaunt in the Public.

Lets Start the Detailed Review of Dell XPS M1530.

Dell has no retail chain,so this means that you cannot buy Dell XPS 1530 from the Market.Although Croma,The Tata Technology Chains,are now in tie-up with Dell to contain their Laptops but not all.So their are two payment Option:DD or Credit Card.Credit Card Transaction is faster ofcourse!

Performance:

Dell XPS 1530 gives you a choice of a number of Core 2 Duo Series processors including the new 45nm Penryn Processors.I ordered the base one,the Core 2 Duo 2Ghz 667Mhz processors and it runs Vista Premium very smoothly.

As with the case of RAM,two options are currently provided:3 GB and 4GB DDR2 RAM..I went for 3 GB Ram because in 32bit Vista premium,the OS can support maximum RAM of 3.25GB RAM,hence theirs seems no reason for paying more if you cant get it full.I ordered 250 GB 5400 rpm HDD with no FDD.

The FSB and Motherboard integrates well with the processor and Gives a Robust Performance.!!

I give 5/5 in Performance to Dell XPS 1530.

Graphics:

The Dell XPS 1530 is packed with the Racing Nvidia GeForce 256Mb 8600GT card that gives it power to play the latest games on the laptop.Also,the G card helps Vista to run smoothly.

Sound:

The Speakers are located above the Keyboard.The Speaker quality is not upto the mark and the Bass is very low.Though,the Creative Headphones fills the Gap.The Sound Card is Integrated Intel one..

Build-Quality:

Dell XPS 1530 provides a very good and stylish build quality.The Laptops aspires an inclined shaped base that gives it a thin laptop quality.The Palm Rest is carved out of Aluminium and it gives a nice feeling working on it.The Keyboard is also very nice.Though sometimes ,the Frame o LCD loosens up and can destroy the LCD if pressed hardly.The Outer Lid has a rubber based paint that gives it a rich look additioned by a two tone paint vertically.I selected Red Crimson colour to give my Laptop a distinguished look unlike HPs,Toshiba and all.Though the paint is sometimes difficult to clean.The 15.4 inch Screen is Glossy one and has nice contrast.

The Touchpad is somewhat shifted towards left providing nice alignment while typing.

The MultiFunctional keys are also provided but they cant be called Keys and they response on a Touch and are TouchButtons.

The DVD-RW drive is Slot load Drive so you have to just insert the dvd inside the groove and enjoy the content.This keeps the Lens off from wear and tear.Though it is Noisy sometimes and also cant support small cds and DVDs.

The 6 Cell Battery last about 2.5-3 hr in normal run.You can aso apply for 9 cell battery if u work portably for long.

Dell Laptop comes with a carry case and you have to customize yours if u want a back pack.The Dell backpack i ordered was Dell manufactured and is very cool..

The one thing,I noticed is that the laptop heats up very rapidy...So keep and use the Laptop with proper posture or you will screw up your laptop.

Warranty:

1 year Complete Cover:Do anything with ur laptop,spill water and crash it or whatever,the whole laptop will be replaced.

If any fault occurs,Call the Dell and the technicians will come to your place and do the work for you irrespective of the billing address/addressee.
